Hey [Family],
Some stories are born from strategy.
Ours was born from survival, soul, and showing up when it was hardest.
In 2021, when the world shut downβ¦
We laced up.
During one of the darkest and most uncertain seasons of our lives, me and my brother Wes Mock created what we called the Woke and Fly Community Running Group.
We started with nothing but heartβand a reason to keep moving.
Running became our way to breathe, connect, and heal in a time where isolation felt like the only option.

π It Started in Prospect Park
We gathered in the heart of Brooklyn, shoulder to shoulder (six feet apart), with others who craved movement and meaning. From there, the ripple grew:
ππΎββοΈ Brooklyn Bridge Park
ππΎββοΈ Highland Park, Queens
ππΎββοΈ Fort Greene Park
ππΎββοΈ Wednesday Night Brooklyn Bridge Runs at 7PM
Every run brought more people.
More stories.
More strength.
What began as community transformed into a calling.
And that calling became Golden Army Fitnessβa movement rooted in resilience, health, and holistic transformation.

π₯ This Is That Story.
We've captured it in a short film that celebrates how brotherhood, movement, and purpose turned a moment of crisis into a lifelong mission.
Itβs a tribute to everyone who ran, who healed, and who never stopped believing in something bigger.

Be inspired.
Be reminded.
And if youβve ever felt called to lead with purposeβyouβre already one of us.
